Biography

I joined the Bing center in January of 2008, but have been a staff member of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since 2001. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as an infusion nurse and staff nurse educator. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Science degree in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions.  I have been a nurse since 1995, and have been an Oncology Certified Nurse since 2001.  I am an active member of the National Oncology Nursing Society, working on the role of nurse practitioners in Oncology.  My responsibilities in the Bing center include the diagnosis and management of patients with Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia.  I also provide direct patient care for patients participating in clinical trial.
