    Biography

I work part time as a Clinical Inquiry Specialist at Dana-Farber's Phyllis F. Cantor Center. I facilitate evidence-based practice projects with Dana-Farber nurses for implementation in oncology practice for patients and their families. I have worked as an oncology nurse practitioner for over 15 years. I currently practice one day a week in gastrointestinal  oncology and work as nursing faculty at UMASS Medical School/Graduate School of Nursing in Worcester, MA. My clinical research includes symptom management and quality of life for gastrointestinal cancer patients, prostate cancer patients and their partners, and in end-of-life care. I am an active member of ONS, Sigma Theta Tau, and ENRS.
