    Biography

I have been a registered nurse in oncology since 1989 and have worked as staff nurse, hospice team member, nurse clinician, nurse educator, and clinical nurse specialist. Though I never dreamed I'd do it, I speak locally, nationally and even internationally on topics related to palliative care, chemotherapy safety, and various cancers and their treatments.  I have been an active member of The Oncology Nursing Society for many years and currently sevrve as the coordinator for the staff education special interest group. I have spent many years as an active member of the program planning team for our local chapter here in Boston.
